The house is at five minute walk from the centre of Vác, in a calm part of the city, at one hundred metres from the Danube and the international cycling lane along the river, joining the Danube’s source in Germany to Budapest. The house can accommodate a family with up to 5 children or small groups of friends. On the ground floor there is a large American kitchen, the living room, a veranda, a restroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a bedroom and an open space with toys for children. There is also a bathroom on this floor.
For the French host, Philippe, life is unimaginable without good wine! Under the house, a beautiful wine cellar waits for the lovers of the eternal drink(1).
(1) The wine cellar can be used by the guests under certain conditions after the owner’s authorization.
In the garden we have built a chapel. The walls are decorated with frescoes painted by a good friend of ours, Gergely Lelkes.
The house overlooks a garden that is 250 square meters. There are also two terraces where you can have your meals, chat, enjoy a drink. One terrace is on the warmer side of the house overlooking the garden, and the other is a patio sheltered from the sun.
